About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support high-volume financial transactions. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for payment systems.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Integrate backend services with databases, third-party systems, and internal platforms.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Implement security best practices to protect sensitive transaction data.

Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues.

Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and system stability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in backend development (experience in financial systems is a plus).

Strong proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, or similar).

Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL).

Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.

Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced and 24/7 operational environment.
