Homebased backend/full-stack developer building and maintaining Go services backed by MySQL for a company in the leasing technology space. Day to day: writing clean, testable code, doing code reviews, ensuring security and compliance, and troubleshooting performance, working Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM Philippine time.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions based on business and stakeholder requirements
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and external parties
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and testable code
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Ensure application security, data privacy, and compliance
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and maintain existing systems
- Provide technical support and share knowledge across teams
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and development practices
About you
- Proven experience as a Backend or Full-stack Developer
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
- Proficiency in MySQL databases
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Understanding of application security and secure coding practices
- Experience using Git for version control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and development techniques
