What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices that support supply chain operations.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and event‑driven services using Kafka and similar messaging technologies.
- Improve the reliability, scalability, data consistency, and fault tolerance of business‑critical systems.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Monitor logs, metrics, and alerts, and investigate production issues.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Practical knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and event‑driven architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging and queueing technologies.
- A solid understanding of idempotency, retry strategies, event ordering, and eventual consistency.
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automated testing, logging, monitoring, and observability.
- A strong understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and code review practices.
