What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices that support supply chain operations.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and event‑driven services using Kafka and similar messaging technologies.
  • Improve the reliability, scalability, data consistency, and fault tolerance of business‑critical systems.
  • Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD processes.
  • Monitor logs, metrics, and alerts, and investigate production issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
  • Practical knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and event‑driven architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging and queueing technologies.
  • A solid understanding of idempotency, retry strategies, event ordering, and eventual consistency.
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis.
  • Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with automated testing, logging, monitoring, and observability.
  • A strong understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and code review practices.
