Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and external services.
- Design and manage databases, including data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
- Integrate AI models, APIs, and third-party services into backend systems to support application functionality.
- Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain code quality and system performance.
- Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of backend architecture and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development or a similar software engineering role.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices concepts, and backend system architecture.
- Understanding of AI models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI API integration into backend applications.
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with AI services or frameworks such as OpenAI API, Gemini API, or similar technologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is preferred.
