Backend Software Development Engineer I

You will build and scale the platform architecture using Node.js, Express.js, Ethereum blockchain, and Solidity. You will assess and address security risks, understand blockchain architecture and API design, develop optimization algorithms for faster settlement and lower technical and financial risk, and establish processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build platform architecture using Node.js, Express.js, Ethereum blockchain, and Solidity.
• Assess platform-architecture security risks and implement suitable changes.
• Scale infrastructure to meet increasing demand.
• Understand blockchain architecture and exposed API design.
• Develop optimization algorithms for faster settlement and reduced technical and financial risk.
• Set up processes for deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of work experience.
• Have experience building production systems for a startup or organization.
• Have strong knowledge of Node.js and its internals.
• Have knowledge of Ethereum blockchain.
• Work with RESTful web services and APIs using Express.js.
• Work with Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Have knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Share GitHub, Bitbucket, or product URLs.
• Work in an agile startup environment and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
