Bank UAT Tester - Contract till March 2027
Summary
Conducts user-acceptance testing for banking software, validating features against specifications and tracking defects with JIRA and Excel.
Job Description as a UAT Tester:
- Work closely with application owners and software developers to carry out functionality testing to ensure the system works according to its specifications
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures, and test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Understand program features to ensure testing scope has taken into consideration to avoid gaps
- Enforce use of best practices and frameworks for UAT management and sign off (i.e. proper test cases, defect tracking log, sign off and testing results)
- Engage the stakeholders when reporting bugs
- Provide support in any ad-hoc tracking/implementation activities
Requirements:
- Min. 2 years of tester experience in a banking & finance environment
- Proficient in JIRA, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Savvy user of AI productivity tools
- Able to start work within short notice
