UAT Tester (Contract till 31 March 2027, Up to $5k) #HFT

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a UAT Tester to support the testing and implementation of business applications within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business users and software development teams to ensure applications meet business requirements and are ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application owners and software developers to understand business requirements, system functionality, and user workflows.
• Plan, design, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate that applications function according to business and technical specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for new system implementations and enhancements.
• Perform functional testing, including exception and negative testing, to ensure system reliability and robustness.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely resolution.
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation and provide clear status updates throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Support system implementation and deployment activities by validating system modifications prior to production release.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in software testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), or quality assurance.
• Familiar with software testing methodologies, test planning, execution, and defect management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in JIRA and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
