Summary
Senior Business Analyst on a business continuity/crisis management (BCCM) project for a Nordic banking client: designs, facilitates and documents desktop testing and recovery exercises for Collaboration and Communication Services, validating crisis and recovery plans and reporting gaps to senior leadership. Hybrid from Gdańsk; PLN 800–1050/day on B2B.
Salary: 800 - 1050 PLN/day on B2B
Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project
You will join a project within the financial services sector, focused on strengthening the operational resilience of Collaboration and Communication Services (CCS).
Responsibilities you'll have

Design and plan desktop testing exercises aligned with CCS objectives and regulatory expectations for banking operations

Develop realistic, MVB-grounded scenarios to evaluate manual recovery procedures and interdependencies across business functions

Facilitate and host exercise workshops with key stakeholders across business units and support functions

Validate existing crisis and recovery plans and identify operational gaps

Manage end-to-end exercise logistics, including participant engagement, session timing, documentation and team coordination

Provide real-time facilitation during desktop exercising sessions

Develop reusable exercise materials, participant guides and facilitator notes

Track and manage action items resulting from testing exercises

Coordinate follow-up activities and provide timely updates to senior leadership and programme governance

Document exercise outcomes, including findings, observations, gaps and recommendations

Identify opportunities to strengthen Collaboration and Communication Services recovery capabilities

Collaborate with Business Continuity and Crisis Management teams to ensure alignment between recovery plans, crisis response protocols and broader business continuity strategies

Work from a Nordea location in Poland minimum 3 days per week if required
Expected competences and knowledge
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience or a related discipline
- At least 1–2 years of experience in testing, exercising or technical recovery planning
- Proven hands-on experience in designing and executing testing exercises, including desktop exercises
- Professional experience within the financial services industry, such as banking or insurance
- Good understanding of how large financial organisations operate and manage technology and operational dependencies
- Strong knowledge of BCCM / Business Continuity and Crisis Management frameworks, methodologies and best practices
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to engage with senior leadership, manage differing perspectives and drive productive discussions
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on exercise objectives and outcomes
- Strong coordination and documentation skills
