BIM Modeller (M&E) @Woodlands
Summary
Creates 3D BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems, resolves clashes, and maintains as-built documentation using Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
- 3D Modelling & Shop Drawings: Translating 2D engineering schematics into data-rich 3D models.
- Clash Detection & Resolution: Identifying and solving spatial conflicts between M&E services and architectural/structural elements.
- As-Built Documentation: Updating models throughout the construction lifecycle to reflect final on-site installations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and drafters to ensure compliance with project specifications and local building codes.
- Technical Skills & Requirements
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard tools like Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks (for clash detection), and AutoCAD.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of M&E engineering principles, including plant room layouts and space management.
