This position has remote and/or hybrid capabilities.
Our Evaluation and Treatment Center (ETC) is seeking a Behavior Analyst to join our clinical team. In this role, you will combine clinical expertise with a compassionate, individualized approach to assess client needs, develop effective treatment plans, support Behavior Technicians, and partner with families and other professionals.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based ABA services.
As a Behavior Analyst, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight throughout the assessment and treatment process, including:

Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and treatment plans using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices.
Analyze client data and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making clinically appropriate adjustments based on progress and outcomes.
Provide clinical oversight and effective supervision to Behavior Technicians, ensuring treatment plans are implemented with consistency, reliability, and fidelity.
Complete clear, accurate, and timely clinical reports and documentation for insurance companies, families, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client progress, treatment outcomes, and services provided.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to promote consistency and continuity of care.
Provide caregiver and stakeholder education and training to support treatment goals across environments.
Apply knowledge of typical growth and development and understand the impact developmental disabilities may have on individuals and their families.
Utilize knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication devices to support individualized client needs.
Stay current with ABA best practices, ethical standards, and relevant clinical practices.
Conduct and participate in new-hire training and ongoing staff development.
Complete and maintain required credentialing with insurance companies served by ETC.
Conduct all clinical interactions in accordance with current best practices, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
Maintain strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, and agency policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong computer skills and comfort working with electronic health records.
Proficiency with CentralReach preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, Behavior Technicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Strong assessment, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance data-driven clinical decision-making with empathy and individualized care.
Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience
Minimum Education:

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field required.

Preferred Experience:
1–2 years of experience with:

Insurance-based behavioral health services.
Medical documentation and maintenance of client records.
Conducting client assessments and developing individualized behavioral treatment plans.
Integrating ABA principles with a compassionate, person-centered approach.
Telehealth and/or hybrid service delivery.

3–5 years of experience with:

Working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

Required Licensure & Certifications

Valid New York State driver's license.
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential in New York State.
Completion of BACB-required supervisor training coursework within one year of hire.

Physical Requirements
The overall nature of this position is primarily sedentary, requiring limited physical effort with occasional light physical exertion. There is little, if any, exposure to environmental conditions.
