Demonstrates and applies relevant knowledge of financial and organizational regulations, policies, and guidelines to include but not limited to Principles of Federal Appropriations Law and DoD 7000.14-R DoD Financial Management Regulation.
Analyzes budgetary impact of new/revised legislation, policies, and procedures. Allocates funds based on analyses of budget estimates and historical expenditures. Monitors and tracks costs, obligations, and expenditures for assigned accounts.
Conducts special studies, analyzes data trends, develops projections of program funding requirements, and recommends financial strategies and actions for meeting program requirements.
Provides courteous, professional, and responsive support to internal and external customers to understand their needs, set expectations, and deliver timely support or service.
Provides financial advisory services on budgeting strategies; financial management tools and products; resource distribution; program priorities; financial forecasts and projections; reprogramming; and development of financial plans.
