Business Analyst - AFTAS Pro

Discussion

We are hiring a Business Analyst to support strategic planning and acquisition execution for Department of the Air Force organizations. The work is documentation-heavy in the way that real acquisition support always is: strategic plans, performance briefs, milestone packages, and the analytic products that senior decision-makers actually read. Turnaround expectations are firm — initial drafts within five business days of request — so this role rewards someone who writes cleanly and quickly under a real clock.

What You'll Get to Do as a Business Analyst:

  • Prepare, update, and maintain government-directed execution documentation, including strategic plans and performance briefs.
  • Collect and maintain the information that keeps mission statements, goals, objectives, implementation activities, and performance measures aligned to one another.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to acquisition program activities — organizing information, maintaining supporting documentation, and supporting reviews of requirements, risks, alternatives, trade-offs, feasibility, and execution.
  • Support formal program milestones, peer reviews, and risk assessment boards.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, communication products, and resource documentation, delivering initial drafts within five business days of request and final versions within five business days of receiving feedback.
  • Compile acquisition program metrics and maintain mission execution tracking.
  • Coordinate with senior technical support personnel across the engagement.
