Business Analyst

Job description:

The Business Analyst leads business analysis across the client lifecycle: pre-sales, delivery, and post sales improvement. The role coversa requirements engineering, workflow management, process analysis, Data Flow Diagram (DFD) development, solution scoping, client consultation, and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories)

• Model business processes using BPMN and create Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)

• Analyze workflows, identify process improvements, and recommend optimized solutions

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, UX, and Project teams throughout the SDLC

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement reviews, and solution presentations

• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, UAT, and change management

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation, requirements analysis, and workflow design while ensuring governance and quality

Key Skills:

• Requirements elicitation and business analysis

• Business process modeling (BPMN 2.0) and workflow optimization

• Data analysis, SQL, Excel, and basic system integration concepts

• Stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation

• Agile/Scrum methodologies, problem-solving, and documentation

• AI prompt engineering and AI-assisted business analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

• 3–5+ years of Business Analysis experience

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, workflow analysis, and Agile delivery

• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, BPMN diagrams, DFDs, and other project documentation

Nice to Have:

• Certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO)

• Experience with SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), API integrations, and AI/Generative AI tools for business analysis
