Business Analyst

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱120,000 per month

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proven experience working in the banking, financial services, or finance industry.

• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and business processes.

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.

• Proficiency in preparing BRDs, Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.

• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

• Experience in banking projects involving core banking systems, digital banking, payments, lending, or financial operations.

• Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management processes.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Excel.

• Understanding of API integrations and system interfaces is an advantage.

• Experience supporting system implementation, migration, and transformation projects.

• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), and user stories.

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are properly understood and implemented.

• Develop process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, and other business documentation.

• Facilitate discussions between business and IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.

• Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of business requirements.

• Support project implementation, change management, and post-deployment activities.

• Ensure solutions comply with banking policies, financial regulations, and business standards.

• Monitor project progress and communicate requirements, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
