Business Analyst

Salary: ₱75,000 – ₱85,000 per month

About the role

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure IT solutions align with business objectives. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional requirements and supporting solution implementation, testing, and deployment.

Generic responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings.

• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flow diagrams.

• Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Collaborate with developers, QA testers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly understood and implemented.

• Perform gap analysis and assess the impact of proposed system changes.

• Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and issue resolution.

• Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular project updates.

• Assist in change management, implementation, and end-user documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or software development projects.

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and functional documentation.

• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with SQL, databases, APIs, or system integrations is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
