Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support business partners by developing data-driven solutions, improving business processes, and ensuring effective data governance. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver impactful analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business models to represent business processes, data, roles, and organizational structures.

• Conduct strategic analysis, root cause analysis, scenario modelling, and opportunity assessments to identify business challenges and recommend improvements.

• Gather, document, and manage business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and design documents.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align business requirements with organizational objectives.

• Develop and oversee test plans, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure the quality and functionality of data products.

• Lead testing, validation, and quality assurance for data products and analytics solutions.

• Support data governance and data quality initiatives, guiding Data Stewards to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve analytics adoption, business processes, and data management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.

• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or data stewardship frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and recommending actionable improvements.

• Experience developing business models and working with data products and analytics solutions.

• Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools.

• Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, DAX, and data modelling concepts.

• Experience using Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker Studio to analyse data and generate actionable insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.

• Familiarity with LeanIX.

• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
