Business Analyst – Retail / POS

Looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large-scale retail technology environment and support projects connecting Point of Sale (POS), digital platforms and other retail systems.

The role will act as a key bridge between POS, digital and technical teams, helping to manage requirements and dependencies across multiple interconnected solutions. You will work closely with Business Analysts, technical teams and key stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into clear functional and system requirements, and ensure alignment across the different platforms.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring a strong understanding of retail and POS processes, combined with excellent stakeholder management and the ability to bring different teams together around complex cross-system requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements.

• Work closely with POS, digital, BA and technical teams to understand cross-system requirements and dependencies.

• Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories and process flows.

• Act as a central point of coordination between different teams and stakeholders.

• Support the analysis of system integrations and data/process flows between POS and other digital solutions.

• Facilitate discussions and workshops to clarify requirements, identify gaps and align stakeholders.

• Support projects covering key retail processes such as sales, transactions, inventory and store operations.

• Work with technical teams throughout implementation to ensure solutions meet the agreed requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar functional role.

• Strong experience within retail technology and POS environments.

• Good understanding of typical POS functionalities, including selling processes, transactions and inventory.

• Experience working across multiple interconnected systems and technical teams.

• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.

• Comfortable engaging with both functional and technical stakeholders.

• Retail experience would be highly advantageous.

• Fluent English communication skills.
