Business Analyst (SAP Supply Chain)

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis from business stakeholders to understand supply chain process needs and pain points

• Document functional and technical specifications for SAP Supply Chain modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP)

• Develop comprehensive process models and workflow diagrams to visualise current and future supply chain operations

• Provide expert guidance on best practices in SAP Supply Chain configuration and implementation

• Collaborate with technical teams and developers to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into system solutions

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with business teams to validate system functionality

• Create detailed training materials and user documentation to support system adoption and change management

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimisations within SAP Supply Chain modules

• Support post-implementation activities, including issue resolution and performance monitoring

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionality and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP Supply Chain implementations or support

• Strong expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Inventory Management, and Demand Planning

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specification documentation

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior management

• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies (such as ASAP or similar frameworks) and project management tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear technical solutions

• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise specifications

• Experience in change management and user training within enterprise system implementations

• Knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement, inventory management, and logistics is highly desirable

• Professional certifications in SAP or relevant business analysis qualifications are advantageous

• Familiarity with the Hong Kong business environment and regional supply chain considerations is a plus
