Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with cardiovascular symptoms and diseases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing medical, interventional, and lifestyle therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including surgeons, nurses, and allied health staff.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Engage in ongoing medical education and research activities as appropriate.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in cardiology.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in cardiology.
- Valid medical license to practice.
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in cardiology.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
