We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled cardiothoracic surgeon to join our leading healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and surgically treating patients with conditions of the heart, lungs, and chest. We are looking for a professional committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through state-of-the-art surgical care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with cardiac and thoracic diseases.
  • Develop and execute precise surgical treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair or replacement, and lung surgeries, with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques when appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress preoperatively and postoperatively, providing timely interventions to manage complications.
  • Participate actively in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance cardiothoracic surgical practices.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of general surgery residency followed by a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship.
  • Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing cardiothoracic surgeries.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Active medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and research.
