California Sierra Express is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver for our Hayward operation. This is a full-time day-shift position performing time-sensitive pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Bay Area. Drivers operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment and work closely with our operations team to safely and professionally move freight for domestic and international freight-forwarding customers.

This schedule provides a consistent Sunday-through-Thursday workweek with Friday and Saturday off. Routes can vary based on freight volume and customer needs and may require approximately 10–12 hours to complete.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment on assigned routes
• Complete time-sensitive pickups and deliveries
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required
• Verify and report freight dimensions and weights
• Complete vehicle inspections, manifests, and required driver documentation
• Provide professional service at customer and freight facilities
• Follow company safety policies and applicable DOT, FMCSA, TSA, and OSHA requirements
• Maintain dependable and consistent attendance

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
• Experience operating 53' tractor-trailers
• Safe driving record
• Ability to work a consistent Sunday–Thursday day schedule
• Ability to safely handle freight when required
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Ability to meet DOT, FMCSA, TSA, company, insurance, background-screening, and drug-testing requirements
