California Sierra Express is hiring an experienced Part-Time Class A CDL Driver for our Hayward operation. This is a consistent Saturday and Sunday day-shift position supporting time-sensitive freight pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Bay Area. It may be a good fit for an experienced Class A driver looking for regular weekend work without committing to a full-time schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment on assigned weekend routes
• Complete time-sensitive pickups and deliveries
• Load, unload, and secure freight when required
• Verify and report freight dimensions and weights
• Complete vehicle inspections, manifests, and required documentation
• Provide professional service at customer and freight facilities
• Follow company safety policies and applicable DOT, FMCSA, TSA, and OSHA requirements
• Maintain dependable weekend attendance

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Commercial Class A tractor-trailer driving experience
• Experience operating 53' tractor-trailers
• Safe driving record
• Dependable Saturday and Sunday availability
• Ability to safely handle freight when required
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Ability to meet DOT, FMCSA, TSA, company, insurance, background-screening, and drug-testing requirements
