Job details
Job purpose
Management and resolution of major claims submitted by contractors and LLI suppliers, ensuring effective dispute handling and resolution on a multi-billion USD offshore project.
Mandatory requirements
1. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, law, business administration, or engineering.
2. Knowledge and experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a business related function or discipline.
- At least 4 years’ oil & gas industry experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractors, subcontractors, service providers, or vendors.
- Experience in contract administration and claims management for offshore EPCI contracts, including large scale developments.
- Proven track record of successful amicable resolution of contractual disputes.
- Experience in formal dispute resolution processes, including mediation, binding arbitration, and litigation.
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern legal statutes and civil codes.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
