Senior analyst assessing DoD cyberspace capabilities and strategic guidance for USCYBERCOM, using advanced analytical methods and deep cyber operations knowledge.
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Meade, Maryland. This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
Serves as a senior cyberspace capabilities and assessments analyst in support of USCYBERCOM’s Capability and Resource Integration Directorate (J8).
Applies advanced analytical methods, deep knowledge of cyberspace operations, and comprehensive understanding of DoW requirements and PPBE.
Develops and executes assessments that inform senior leadership decisions on strategic guidance.
Provides authoritative guidance on analytical methods, assessment design, and interpretation of strategic level direction originating.
Evaluates the performance, operational utility, and developmental progress of cyberspace capabilities across the acquisition and fielding lifecycle.
