Cyber Operations and Capabilities Analyst
Summary
Leads cyber operations, develops tactics, and manages technical teams to execute and document full-spectrum cyberspace missions for U.S. Army Cyber Command.
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Serves as USCYBERCOM and JCPG Weapons and Tactics Director (WTD), leads a cohort of Cyber Mission Force (CMF) personnel and can perform the duties that exploit computer components and architectures.
Leads and manages exceptionally technical personnel to include interactive operators, exploitation analysts, mission commanders, capability developers, and other technical directors.
Incorporates computer network operators, network analysts, capability developers and technical leads from multiple organizations to optimize analysis, evaluation, planning, development, preparation and execution of JFHQ-C operations
Provides and maintains draft documentation for external cyberspace operations and computer network exploitation (CNE) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) as inputs to training programs.
Identifies technical risk and determines mitigation strategies for external cyberspace operations.
Serves as a SME of full spectrum external cyberspace operations including signals intelligence (SIGINT), computer network exploitation, and cyberspace effects operations to enable interagency collaboration and coordination, and technical expertise
