Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to support the maintenance and operations of security systems within a critical technology environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management and infrastructure protection, while providing technical guidance to a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, endpoint protection and IDS/IPS.
• Support security incident investigation, response coordination, first-level troubleshooting and vendor escalations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management to maintain system security.
• Assist with security audits, compliance checks and the preparation of security logs and reports.
• Work closely with IT, network and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues and implement security controls.
• Guide a team of engineers in delivering implementation and ongoing operational support.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident records and security procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security maintenance or a related technical role.
• Hands-on knowledge of endpoint protection, network security and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience supporting security incidents, vulnerability management and system maintenance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to guide engineers while working independently and collaboratively.
• Exposure to container security and key management would be an advantage.
