About the role
The Data Migration & Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, profiling, cleansing, validating, transforming, and preparing data from the organization's legacy ERP system for migration to a new ERP platform. The role requires a highly analytical and independent individual who can assess data quality issues, determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records, and make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions. The position will work closely with business process owners, ERP functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and project management to ensure that migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use in the new ERP.
Key responsibilities
Analyze, profile, and assess data quality issues from legacy ERP systems
Determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records
Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation
Prepare data for migration to new ERP platform
Make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions
Work with business process owners, ERP functional teams, and technical teams
Ensure migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use
Perform data profiling, mapping, and source-to-target reconciliation
Analyze master data and transactional data
Participate in large-scale ERP data migration projects
About you
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related discipline
7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data migration, data quality, ERP implementation, or related areas
Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP data migration projects
Hands-on experience performing data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Experience dealing with master data and transactional data
Strong practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Strong practical knowledge of Excel and advanced Excel
Strong practical knowledge of data quality management, ETL concepts, and data migration methodologies
Ability to work as an individual contributor with limited day-to-day supervision
Must be willing to work on-site in Makati and Ortigas locations
