Salary range: 18 800 - 28 500 PLN gross/m

What will you do?

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer / Data Scientist with a strong Python background and experience in AI-driven solutions. This role combines solid data engineering capabilities with analytical and modeling skills. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines and developing AI/ML and agent-based solutions leveraging LLM technologies. You will join the Transaction Monitoring area within the Anti-Financial Crime Division at one of our UK banking clients, contributing to advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives.

Your tasks

  • Implement data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark
  • Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
  • Build and evaluate LLM-based and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation)
  • Develop analytical and alerting models for financial crime detection
  • Perform business-oriented data analysis and functional design
  • Work within the Big Data ecosystem to process and transform large datasets
  • Optimize distributed data processing jobs (Spark)

Your skills

  • Minimum 5–6 years of commercial experience in similar roles
  • Very good knowledge of Python 3.x
  • Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
  • Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem
  • Experience in developing analytical or alerting models
  • Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures
  • Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development
  • Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation)

Experience in:

  • Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised Learning)
  • Large Language Models (LLM)
  • GCP/VertexAI/Google ADK
  • Generative Models (GANs, Variational Autoencoders – VAE)
  • Experience with Spark (Big Data / Streaming)
  • Data analysis skills including business and functional design
  • English level B2+

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial services or transaction monitoring
  • Experience in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) domain
  • Experience working in regulated environments
