Senior Data Engineer / Data Scientist (AI & LLM Solutions)

Summary

Senior role building scalable data pipelines and AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based agent systems, for a UK banking client's anti-financial crime team using Python, GCP, and distributed computing.

Salary range: 15 800 – 24 300 PLN gross/m

What will you do?

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer / Data Scientist with a strong Python background and proven experience in AI-driven solutions. This role combines data engineering expertise with analytical and modeling capabilities. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines and developing AI/ML and agent-based solutions leveraging LLM technologies. You will join the Transaction Monitoring area within the Anti-Financial Crime Division at one of our UK banking clients, contributing to advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives.

Your tasks

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines
  • Build and optimize AI/ML models
  • Develop agent-based solutions using modern Agentic AI frameworks
  • Work with LLM and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation)
  • Process and transform large datasets using distributed computing frameworks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Your skills

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in similar roles
  • Very good knowledge of Python 3.x
  • Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development
  • Experience with GCP, VertexAI, Google ADK
  • Knowledge of LLM and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation)
  • Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
  • Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem
  • Experience in developing analytical or alerting models
  • Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • English level B2+
