Overview:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help design, develop, maintain, and evolve our developer tooling ecosystem around IDEs and their plugins and functionality.
You will be responsible for building and improving developer productivity solutions, maintaining IDE (VSCode) integrations, supporting project discovery and index capabilities, and enabling efficient development workflows.
Requirements
A mix of the following:
- Experience with Github Actions;
- IaaS;
- Good understanding of software development workflows, CI/CD concepts;
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- Linux (RHEL) system administration;
- Experience with version control systems (Git);
- Experience with some of the languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript;
- Scripting languages (Shell/Bash).
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana or other data analytics platform;
- Knowledge of build configurations and experience with build systems are considered a plus;
- Terraform infrastructure-as-code for on-prem deployments;
- Automation: Ansible.
