DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure using monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to improve release processes.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards within DevOps workflows.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
