Electrical Mechanic A
Summary
Maintains and repairs machinery, electrical systems, and equipment across a manufacturing plant, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and programming PLCs to minimize production downtime.
This position is responsible for assisting in repairs, maintenance of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems throughout the entire plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all duties of Electric Mechanic “B”
- Performs size changes on all production lines.
- Executes the preventive maintenance program schedule to avert production and equipment failures and downtime.
- Performs troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoots AC/DC electrical circuits.
- Troubleshoots single phase and 3-phase power.
- Read and interpret hard wire schematics.
- Read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Troubleshoot and program PLC's.
- Assist in the training of the Electrical Mechanic in Training and B level Electric Mechanic.
- Perform and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
