Electrical Superintendent/ Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent/ Engineer to lead and supervise all electrical construction activitiesfor major projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor planning, execution, installation, testing & commissioning,subcontractor management, quality, safety, and project delivery in accordancewith project specifications, Singapore regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all electrical construction activities across multiple project work fronts.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Oversee installation of HV, MV & LV electrical systems, switchgears, transformers, MCCs, cable containment, cable trays, earthing, lighting, power distribution, ELV and telecommunication systems.
- Supervise cable pulling, termination, megger testing, continuity testing, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT, inspection, testing, commissioning and final handover with clients, consultants and vendors.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, RFIs and construction schedules.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, materials, work progress and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, QA/QC requirements and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection records, as-built documentation and project close-out documentation.
- Support project planning, resource allocation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, in Construction, Infrastructure or EPC projects.
- Strong experience in GIS (220KV), HV/MV/LV installations, switchgears, transformers, MCCs, cable tray systems, cable pulling, termination, testing and commissioning.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and clients during construction and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical standards, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and QA/QC procedures.
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
