Engineer Tendering
Job purpose
Support the smooth flow of sales inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate provision of quotations. Coordinate different project activities, contribute to the efficient execution of tasks, and promote a cohesive environment that supports overall project success.
Key accountability areas
Receiving and registration:
Receive RFQs through C4C or email.
Carefully examine and officially log RFQs in the Tender Register.
Analysis and optimization:
Examine requirements based on customer specifications.
Create optimized material proposals aligned with customer requirements.
Cross-functional coordination:
Coordinate effectively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive offer and meet deadlines.
Documentation and archiving:
Gather and archive documentation related to offers and orders.
Document assumptions and decisions made during the tendering process for future reference.
Maintain well-organized documentation folders on the server.
Tendering/order process:
Manage the complete tendering/order process for SEC-Unit/Package Substations.
Review BOMs and shop drawings from the Tendering team.
Evaluate purchase orders for PSS components and provide necessary approvals/comments.
Preparation of offers:
Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial offers with detailed documentation.
Respond to pre-qualification file requests with the necessary supporting documents.
Post-bid clarifications:
Coordinate and diligently follow up to address post-bid clarifications.
Collaborate with the Sales Team for essential approval/comments before and after order execution.
Review and approval processes:
Examine sales IPOs to ensure consistency with the quotation.
Acknowledge FG/FERT codes and delivery terms in coordination with Master data and Planning teams.
Materials and design compliance:
Ensure the availability of all raw materials in the BOM.
Adhere to customer comments and approved drawings.
Review final design releases, prepare the ultimate BOM, and upload it in SAP.
Cost releases and safety:
Collaborate with all operational teams for cost releases from finance.
Implement and adhere to all safety and QMS procedures within the factory.

Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic qualification
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering
