Engineering Assistant (Medical Device Manufacturing, Equipment Maintenance, Calibration, Production Support) #HDC1

A medical device manufacturer is looking for an Engineering Assistant to support its production operations. You will keep machines running well and help improve efficiency on the shop floor.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide operational and technical support to production
• Carry out machine and equipment maintenance and calibration
• Help establish SOPs and machine manuals for servicing and maintenance programmes
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to raise efficiency and reduce rejects
• Support engineering projects for cost and productivity improvements
• Implement industrial safety practices to ensure compliance
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs
• Keep accurate maintenance and calibration records
• Work with production and quality teams to resolve line issues
• Support ad hoc production and engineering tasks

What You'll Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or a related engineering discipline and above
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably medical device or regulated industries
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and calibration
• Familiar with SOPs and documentation
• Basic understanding of lean or process improvement
• Strong safety awareness
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, hands-on and a good team player
