Entry-Level Service Lane and Vehicle Support Team Member

Starting pay: $14.00 per hour
Hawkins Automotive is seeking a dependable team member to support our service lane and vehicle-preparation operations.
No prior automotive experience is required. We will provide training for a qualified applicant who is dependable, willing to learn, and committed to providing professional support to our customers and service team.
This is not primarily a heavy-detailing position. The role includes light vehicle cleaning and preparation, moving vehicles, maintaining organized work areas, and helping the service department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform light vehicle cleaning, vacuuming, window cleaning, and touch-up work.
- Prepare customer vehicles for return following service or repairs.
- Move customer and dealership vehicles safely.
- Help maintain an orderly and efficient service lane.
- Keep parking, vehicle-staging, and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with locating and staging vehicles for service appointments.
- Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, detail employees, and management.
- Follow dealership procedures for vehicle keys, parking, safety, and customer property.
- Complete other related service-lane and vehicle-support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- No prior automotive experience required.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn dealership procedures and automotive-service operations.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work accurately.
- Professional and courteous communication with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safe vehicle handling.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required because the position involves moving customer and dealership vehicles.
