Fabric Data Engineer | NSW

Summary

Microsoft Fabric data engineer responsible for platform administration, reporting/analytics support, and Power BI workspace migration within a Unified Data Platform Program using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure.

  • Undertake Microsoft Fabric data engineering and platform administration activities.
  • Support Fabric reporting, analytics and data visualisation initiatives across the Unified Data Platform Program.
  • Review, update and maintain technical and operational documentation.
  • Undertake Power BI workspace migration analysis and associated migration activities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement, support and optimisation of data platforms and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that support business requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Undertake Microsoft Fabric data engineering and platform administration activities.
  • Support Fabric reporting, analytics and data visualisation initiatives across the Unified Data Platform Program.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS


  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Understanding of Azure platform technologies and services.
  • Experience delivering data engineering solutions within Azure environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to broader program objectives.
