Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC and industrial control systems to ensure reliable plant operations.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize equipment uptime.
- Support and coordinate automation enhancement, system upgrade, and improvement projects from planning through implementation.
- Diagnose system faults, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and process performance.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards.
- Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLC systems.
- Familiarity with ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems such as fire alarm, public address, access control, or CCTV systems.
- Experience working with field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and industrial control devices.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution, control panels, and electrical systems will be an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
