Analyze and manage budgets for U.S. Navy facilities, preparing estimates, reviewing expenditures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Code 900F Production Facilities & Plant Equipment of PSNS and IMF.
You will formulate budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities.
You will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets using knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support programs and activities.
