FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
Summary
Analyze and prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for a U.S. Navy fleet command, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tracking program funds.
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER, BUDGET DIVISION of COMNAVSURFLANT.
You will provide financial statements, accounting reports and other information reflecting the interrelationship between accounting, budgeting and other management data.
You will be responsible for applying accounting principles rigor to a wide variety of assignments.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers.
You will preform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems;
You will perform analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds; tracking and control of funds for special programs.
You will perform analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems.
