FP&A Senior Analyst

COMPANY

A leading global player in the pharmaceutical industry is establishing its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Portugal and is looking for an FP&A Senior Analyst to join its international Finance team.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing, updating and distributing recurring financial reports and management dashboards;


• Performing data validation activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting;


• Supporting monthly financial reporting cycles and group submissions;


• Conducting variance analysis across actuals, forecasts and budgets, identifying key trends and performance drivers;


• Supporting forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes across the business;


• Delivering ad hoc reporting and analytical support to stakeholders across different business functions;


• Contributing to finance process improvement and reporting standardisation initiatives;


• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and governance requirements;


• Supporting the administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM planning cycles and reporting processes;


• Participating in finance transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

PROFILE

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related field;


• 2 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Management Control, Reporting or a related analytical finance role;


• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes;


• Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills;


• Experience with Oracle EPM (preferred) or similar financial planning and business intelligence tools;


• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), completed or in progress, will be valued;


• Fluent English (mandatory);


• Availability to travel.
