FPGA Engineer - UK
Summary
FPGA Engineer at a defence technology company in Central London (plus other UK sites), designing and verifying complex FPGA architectures for image/radio signal-processing and safety- and security-critical systems. Core tools: VHDL, SystemVerilog/UVM, Simulink, and Xilinx/Intel/Microsemi toolsets; onsite 4-5 days per week.
Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- We ideally look for a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- We look for skills in designing complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink, and similar tools.
- We look for experience targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices.
- We look for experience verifying FPGA designs with VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM.
- We look for experience with FPGA toolsets and Mentor tools such as QuestaSim and ModelSim.
- We look for experience generating low-level C software for test and integration.
- We look for confidence in documenting and configuring designs to a high standard.
- We work on a broad range of FPGA projects, including advanced image and radio signal-processing systems, embedded processing systems, and safety- and security-critical platforms.
- We are involved in every stage of the FPGA lifecycle, from initial requirements through to validated design.
