Full Stack Application Developer
Summary
A full-stack developer will own and enhance Revaya's internal recruitment/applicant tracking system built with Bolt.new and Supabase, handling frontend features, backend logic, PostgreSQL/RLS, Google Workspace API integrations, and GitHub-based releases. Requires formal software education and real coding ability beyond no-code/AI prompting.
We are seeking a technically strong application developer to enhance our existing recruitment and applicant tracking system built using Bolt.new. You will take ownership of the application’s code, database, integrations, and reliability, improving its functionality as our recruitment operations grow.
This role requires a formal software development education and the ability to independently understand, write, review, and debug application code. Candidates must be able to explain how the system works across the frontend, backend, and database. Experience limited to website design, no-code tools, or AI prompting is insufficient for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the existing application, repository, and database; identify defects, technical debt, security gaps, and opportunities to improve the architecture.
- Enhance recruitment workflows, including candidate profiles, job orders, pipeline stages, assessments, interview scheduling, endorsements, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain frontend features, backend logic, APIs, and database functionality; translate operational requirements into reliable software.
- Work within Bolt.new while independently reviewing and correcting generated code, troubleshooting issues, and implementing changes directly when needed.
- Manage Supabase database schemas, SQL queries, migrations, authentication, file storage, server-side functions, and row-level security policies.
- Implement role-based access and protect sensitive candidate and client information through appropriate authorization, validation, and secure credential handling.
- Use GitHub for version control, branches, pull requests, code reviews, and traceable releases; resolve conflicts and maintain a recoverable change history.
- Build and maintain Google product integrations as required, including Calendar, Gmail, Drive, and Sheets; handle OAuth, permissions, tokens, and integration errors.
- Improve performance, data accuracy, and usability; investigate failures across the interface, application logic, database, and external integrations.
- Test important workflows and permissions before release; manage deployments, monitor errors, and document changes, setup procedures, and technical decisions.
Required Qualifications
- A completed degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or a closely related discipline with substantial software development coursework is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining functional software applications, with hands‑on responsibility for both frontend and backend development.
- Practical experience with Bolt.new and the ability to understand and maintain the underlying code beyond the platform’s prompting interface.
- Hands‑on Supabase experience, including PostgreSQL, relational database design, SQL, authentication, row-level security, and server-side functions.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and release management.
- Experience integrating Google products through APIs and OAuth, including secure handling of credentials and user authorization.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, application state, business logic, API design, data validation, debugging, and automated testing.
- Ability to safely modify an existing production application while preserving current functionality and data integrity.
- Clear communication, strong documentation habits, and the ability to work independently with business stakeholders.
Note: An NBI or police clearance will be required upon acceptance of the job offer
