Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Polygon using Solidity.
• Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces for decentralized applications using frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs that integrate with smart contracts and external services.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of both frontend and backend components of the DeFi platform.
• Collaborate effectively with a remote team through various communication tools and methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and uphold high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues across the full stack.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain, DeFi, and full-stack development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices within a remote-first environment.
• Help shape the technical direction and product roadmap of our DeFi offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain and smart contract development.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with smart contract development tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Strong experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) and web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js).
• Experience with backend technologies and databases (e.g., Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of blockchain principles, DeFi concepts, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, essential for remote work.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a distributed team setting.
• Previous experience working in a remote-first company is highly advantageous.
