Full Stack Developer Internship

Duration: Dec 2026 - Jan 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale web applications using modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Next.js, expertise in any one is sufficient)
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express / NestJS / Fastify or similar)
• Collaborate on AI integrations and intelligent workflows for oracy education features (e.g., AI tutor prototypes, conversational practice modules)
• Implement clean, maintainable, and reusable code with a strong focus on performance
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, reviews, retros)
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve speed and quality
• Support the iteration of our MVP, including testing and refining AI-driven oracy practice features

Must-Have Skills

Frontend

• Strong experience with Angular OR React OR Next.js
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new frameworks and tech stacks
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with responsive design and component-based architectures

Backend

• Hands-on experience with Node.js (Express / NestJS / Fastify or similar)
• Experience building RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
• Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security

AI & Python

• Working knowledge of Python, especially for AI or data-driven integrations
• Experience integrating AI APIs or working with LLM-based systems (a plus for oracy-focused features)

Problem Solving & Productivity

• Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with vibe coding and AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, V0, etc.)
• Familiarity with version control (Git)

Good to Have (AI & Conversational Apps)

• Background in AI/ML engineering or applied AI product development
• Experience building conversational applications (chatbots, AI assistants, voice bots)
• Hands-on experience with LLM integrations, prompt engineering, or RAG pipelines
• Experience with conversation state management and context handling
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or conversation analytics
• Interest in education technology or social impact projects

Additional Preferred Experiences

• Prior experience with image analysis or AI models
• Experience building dashboards or integrating gamification features
• Interest in 3D modeling, avatars, or virtual characters generation
• Experience with real-time interactive systems
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS / GCP / Azure)
