Staffy is hiring full-stack engineers to rebuild a highly configurable workflow engine powering a communications compliance platform: migrating existing backend logic to Go, building the frontend with React/Remix, and integrating external partner systems. Remote within LATAM, with AI coding agents used daily.

About the role
We're looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to join a team working on communication capture systems for iMessage and WhatsApp.
You'll work across backend and frontend development, building and maintaining capture functionality and supporting additional mobile communication systems. The role also involves working with macOS-specific components and cloud infrastructure to ensure these systems are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
This is a hands-on role for engineers who are comfortable troubleshooting complex systems, working across different layers of the stack, and making technical decisions with a high degree of autonomy. You'll also use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools as part of your daily engineering workflow.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support iMessage and WhatsApp capture systems end-to-end
- develop additional mobile communication capture systems
- build and maintain macOS-specific components
- develop and maintain backend services using Go
- develop frontend functionality using React and Remix
- design and maintain integrations with external services
- work with AWS SQS, SNS, Lambda, and S3
- work with DBOS and related infrastructure tooling
- investigate and troubleshoot production issues
- collaborate with the product team on planning future development
- raise technical issues, risks, and blockers early
- contribute to technical decisions
- use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding agents as part of the daily development workflow.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Go
- solid experience with React, ideally Remix
- experience building and maintaining integrations, APIs, or external systems
- ability to work across backend and frontend
- experience with AWS and event-driven architectures
- experience with SQS, SNS, Lambda, and S3
- experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools in daily development work
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- clear communication
- ability to raise issues and risks early
- autonomy to make sound technical decisions and work with limited oversight.
