Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining user-facing features using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
• Support the development of server-side logic and database interactions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
• Learn to implement and manage APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues across the full stack.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional web applications.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for code and features.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new web technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• A foundational understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails) is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to development.
• Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• A matriculation certificate or equivalent, with a relevant tertiary qualification or coding bootcamp completion being a significant plus.
• A genuine passion for web development and a drive to learn.
