Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React) | Banking & Financial Services | 12-Month Contract, Highly Extendable Job Summary Join a leading financial services technology team as a Senior Full Stack Developer, delivering high-impact backend and frontend solutions within Corporate & Investment Banking on a 12-month extendable contract. Responsibilities Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus to support scalable financial applications Develop responsive frontend applications with React and LIT to enhance user experience in banking systems Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval Mentor and guide junior developers to elevate team technical capabilities and code quality Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on Azure cloud infrastructure Preferred competencies and qualifications 10+ years of full stack development experience Strong proficiency in Java backend development, including Spring Boot and Spring Security Solid experience with React frameworks, including Hooks and Redux/Redux Toolkit Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Prior experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory
