Job Summary
Join a leading financial services technology team as a Senior Full Stack Developer, delivering high-impact backend and frontend solutions within Corporate & Investment Banking on a 12-month extendable contract.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus to support scalable financial applications
- Develop responsive frontend applications with React and LIT to enhance user experience in banking systems
- Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Mentor and guide junior developers to elevate team technical capabilities and code quality
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on Azure cloud infrastructure
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 10+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java backend development, including Spring Boot and Spring Security
- Solid experience with React frameworks, including Hooks and Redux/Redux Toolkit
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Prior experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory
